Continuous Fever
- Temperature stays above normal
- Common Tablets: Paracetamol, Crocin
- Treatment: Rest, fluids, antipyretics
Remittent Fever
- Fluctuates but never goes back to normal
- Tablets: Paracetamol, Ibuprofen
- Treatment: Antibiotics if bacterial, hydration
Intermittent Fever
- Fever comes and goes
- Tablets: Dolo 650, Meftal
- Treatment: Monitor, blood test if malaria suspected
Relapsing Fever
- Fever returns after days of no symptoms
- Tablets: Doxycycline, Azithromycin
- Treatment: Antibiotics, hospital care if needed
Dengue Fever
- High fever with joint pain and rashes
- Tablets: Paracetamol (no NSAIDs)
- Treatment: Hydration, blood platelet monitoring
Typhoid Fever
- Prolonged fever, weakness, abdominal pain
- Tablets: Cefixime, Azithromycin
- Treatment: Antibiotics, ORS, rest
Malaria Fever
- Chills, high fever in cycles
- Tablets: Artemether, Lumefantrine
- Treatment: Anti-malarial drugs, mosquito control
COVID-19 Fever
- Fever, cough, fatigue, loss of taste/smell
- Tablets: Paracetamol, Vitamin C, Zinc
- Treatment: Isolation, monitoring, steam inhalation
